Histoire

Canton Hardware designs the buckle first and the bag around it. The studio casts its own brass in Guangzhou and machines its own closures, which is unusual at this scale and is the reason its bags can be repaired rather than replaced.

A toolmaker by training who moved into leather goods after a decade making dies for the electronics industry. Designs every fitting as a serviceable assembly.

Atelier

Brass cast and machined in-house. Leather cut and stitched by a partner workshop of nineteen in Guangzhou, exclusive since 2019.
