What we verify before a brand goes live

Every brand on Corridor passes four checks before a single product is visible to a customer. None of them is a formality.

The atelier. We ask where the garment is physically made and by how many people, and we ask for the same answer twice, three months apart. A brand that cannot name its workshop does not go live.

The materials. Composition, weight and origin, declared per product rather than per collection. "Premium wool" is not a declaration. "17.5 micron merino, woven in Biella" is.

The certifications. We check the certificate number against the issuing body. A scanned PDF is not evidence; a live registry entry is.

The designer. A name, a training, a body of work. This is the check that most often ends an application, and the one we are least willing to drop — a marketplace of anonymous labels is a wholesale catalogue, not a curation.
